Counter-wise

Live counters for this menu

Every counter below can be booked on its own, without a full menu, or combined into the spread above. Each one carries its own price, footprint and power requirement.

Dietary

Jain, vegetarian, vegan and allergen handling

This is the whole point of the page, so it is worth being exact: Jain food is cooked in its own vessels, on its own burners, with its own fresh oil, and no onion, garlic or root vegetable enters that line at any stage.
Separate kitchen lines for vegetarian, Jain, satvik and vegan food, each with its own utensils, pans and fresh oil.
No onion, no garlic, no root vegetables on a Jain line — and the base gravies rebuilt rather than stripped.
Counter signage on every station with veg and non-veg marking and the major allergens named.
Fasting and upvas menus prepared with sendha namak, kept off the regular kitchen line entirely.
Full ingredient lists sent ahead where a guest has a nut, dairy, gluten or sesame allergy.
The dietary counters physically separated in the layout, with their own stewards who stay on that counter.

FAQs

Jain Catering questions

Do you use separate utensils and a separate kitchen line for Jain food?

Yes. Jain food is cooked in its own vessels, on its own burners, with its own serving spoons and chafing sets, colour-coded so nothing gets swapped mid-service. The team is briefed before load-in and the counters are physically separated at the venue.

What exactly is excluded from a Jain menu?

No onion, no garlic, and no root vegetables at all — no potato, carrot, beetroot, radish, ginger, turmeric root, yam or suran. No ginger-garlic paste anywhere in the base gravies, which are rebuilt on tomato, cashew, melon seed and green chilli.

Is the frying oil separate?

Yes — a separate fryer with fresh oil that has not been used for anything else, and it is not reused afterwards for the general kitchen either. Same for the tempering pans.

Can Jain and non-Jain food be served at the same event?

Routinely. The Jain counters sit at the opposite end of the layout with their own stewards who stay on that counter, their own serving spoons, and clear signage. Guests do not have to ask anyone what is safe.

Do you cater Paryushan and upvas menus?

Yes — no green vegetables on the observed days, service completed before sunset, and boiled water where the family follows that. Sabudana, rajgira, singhara flour and fruit-based menus for fasting guests.

Can our family supervise the kitchen?

Yes, and many families do. You get a named supervisor for the event, and a family member or your own maharaj is welcome in the prep area to watch the Jain line being set up and cooked.

How far ahead should we book?

Six to ten weeks for October to February weddings and the Diwali corporate season. Outside that, two to three weeks is usually comfortable, and short-notice bookings taken when the kitchen has capacity.

Can we taste the menu before we confirm?

Yes. We arrange a tasting for confirmed enquiries, and the final dish list, spice levels and sweetness are locked after it rather than before. Sharing the date, venue and guest count gets you a written per-plate quote the same day.
