FAQs
Yes, at a live counter — baked, cracked open, drowned in ghee and served hot with churma made alongside. Baatis carried in from a kitchen arrive hard.
Yes. For a Marwari function the entire event is pure vegetarian by default — no non-veg at the venue, separate transport, separate equipment.
On a mixed booking the non-veg counter sits at the far end of the layout with its own stewards, chafing sets and serving spoons, and it is signposted. On a pure-veg booking it is simply not cooked.
Laal maas and ker sangri are genuinely hot as they should be, and we cook them that way while keeping panchmel dal, gatte and the bread section mild, so both kinds of guest are fed properly.
Brass and copper thali sets, kansa bowls and traditional counter styling are part of the setup for a thali booking. Specific rented props or a themed mandap look are quoted separately.
Six to ten weeks for October to February weddings and the Diwali corporate season. Outside that, two to three weeks is usually comfortable, and short-notice bookings taken when the kitchen has capacity.
Yes. We arrange a tasting for confirmed enquiries, and the final dish list, spice levels and sweetness are locked after it rather than before. Sharing the date, venue and guest count gets you a written per-plate quote the same day.
Tastings before booking, live counters at your venue, and one supervisor with you all evening.
